the photos that look like fisheye, panoramic orbs of buildings or landscapes floating. There are a couple entered in the sky challenge and I would love to know how that is done!!

In Photoshop PS2,
it's "Filter-->Distort-->Polar Coordinate...".
If you don't have a fishey lens you can imitate one with,
"Filter-->Distort-->Spherical...", cut out the circle, then maybe turn it into an oval with "Filter-->Distort-->Lens Correction". |
