I have my first photoshoot today. Nothing major, and i'm not getting paid. I'm just volunteering w/ some guys at The Covenant House shooting the kids on santa's lap.

All i have is my 350xt w/ a 28-300 lens. And I get to move around the lamps.

Any tips?

yeah, watch out for pee. Kids tend to get a bit excited around Santa.

Congratulations on getting the photoshoot! Just make sure there are not too many shadows or highlights on the kids' faces. Not sure if you're experienced with lighting, but if not, play around with the positioning before the kids get there to make sure everything looks alright. With the looks of your pictures, you'll do great.
