I am looking for a portrait lens to complement my 50mm 1.8 lens for around 350.oo |

85mm is in my mind the perfect lens for dSLR portraits... look for the nikon equivalent of the canon 85mm f/1.8 usm... dont knwo what it is but i love this lens :)

| Seems that the Nikon 85mm F/1.8D would be the prime for you. If you would rather have a zoom, look at the Tamron 28-75mm. Both are around $350. |
