Have you guys heard of scoopt.com? Take a look at it if you shoot a lot of stuff and use Flickr. Scoopt hooks up photo buyers with sellers through Flickr. If you tag your photos with Scoopt and somebody finds a photo they like, they can buy it from you through Scoopt. I haven't gone to their site to get the details, but sounds like an interesting idea from the story I read. |

I saw this as well. The catch.. if they sell your photo, they expect a period of exclusivity while they market your image to news/media/tabloid groups.
Essentially, they're going what you probably could have done on your own. Sounded cool, but I think you'd be better off calling news agencies directly if you ever got something that could potentially be worth selling. |
