To those of you who shoot kids frequently...
What is the slowest shutter speed you are willing to use before upping ISO? |

For kids watching television, 1 second.
For kids at play, 1/8000 second
;-)
Seriously, it really does depend. For young kids in active play, about 1/250 unless I really want some intentionally included blur. |

About 2 seconds :) 
My little guy will not hold still for photos so I have to do what I can.
I generally bump the ISO to 400 and plan to run noise nija on the images.
When using my EX580 flash I have set the custom function to force the shutter speed to 1/200 on Av mode. |

I pretty much agree with this, although this very old entry seems to have been taken at 1/30 second.
