For the past few months, the site has been very unresponsive for me. I can be browsing challenge results, click on an image, and nothing. It will just sit there and spin, and eventually time out. I've tried my home and work computer, so i know it is not me.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I experience this almost every second day. It makes things annoying when you are on a tight schedule at work...

Mine is always slow when I click on the "community" button.
It seems to take longer than normal for that window to open.
Otherwise it seems ok.
Probably.
