Ok, before I begin I'd just like to say that this isn't a thread complaining about my score. I take what I'm given and accept it. I would just like to know what I could do to improve on my Bond entry (link to follow). This is pretty much my very very first portrait ever, and I would love to improve some. I'm very interested in getting further into portraiture and what better way to learn than comments and critiques right? Anyway, if you can leave me some comments, I would very much appreciate them and would return the favor for any image of your choice as well. Thanks guys.

Bumping this thread. For those of you that have commented, I'll return the comments as soon as this spell of severe homework ends (wednesday evening).
Thanks.

Sameer,
I believe the fact that the gun is so out of focus compared to your face probably hurt your score somewhat. Try cranking down on the aperture to get both in focus and increase the depth of field. Might be hard with that particular lense though. All in all a 5+ score for your first portrait is not a bad start at all.
