Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D

Anyone know about the compatability of the d100 with pocket wizards? I tried to use my d70s with them this weekend but just no way to get there from here.
I'm thinking of using a d100 for studio/location shoots so I can use them. If they'll work.

Also, with the d100 is it possible to shoot tethered?

I don't see any reason why pocket wizards wouldn't work with the D70s so now you have me worried. The D100 lacks Nikon's "Creative Light System" (CLS) and that limits what I can do with Nikon wireless controls, but I don't think Pocket Wizards would use that standard. Even if they did, the D70s supports CLS so that shouldn't have been an issue.

As for shooting tethered, I don't think it is possible. Nikon Capture might have something in it to handle this (I've never used it, this is just a guess). In my experience though, the D100 is disabled when connected to the computer. Even if you could shoot tethered, it would be painful as the D100 only has USB 1.1

it is possible to shoot tethered (Nikon Capture) though very slow ...

slow as in waiting a couple minutes for a pic to make it to screen? or 10 seconds as opposed to 1 on the d200?

probably not even 10sec but 5-10 or so...
