Wondered if anyone had any good printing coupon codes for the Holiday season. As usual Shutterfly has several currently:

but I can't find any for Mpix!

No coupon codes needed for Adorama. They have a special going on right now ... unlimited 11x14's for just $1.99 each. I've already ordered 12 and I have (from my customers) 9 more to order by tomorrow. I love it. I can fed-ex these and still be money ahead. And yes, they are good quality prints.

Adorama sucks. Order placed a week ago and is still in a pending status (it's only 5 pictures). Called customer service and waited almost a half hour, just to be blind transferred to some guy's voicemail. Customer Service is horrible! Also emailed them and left two voicemails (before and after hours -- they're only open 9:30 to 4:30, and only until 1pm or so on Fridays), and no response there either.

I don't know how the quality is, but if you need your stuff or give a crap about how you're treated as a customer then you should look elsewhere.

Sorry, needed to vent.

I'm sorry to hear you are having a negative experience. I have used Adorama numerous times with great service, great prices, and quick turn around. I certainly understand your frustration, but I don;t think that is typical for them based upon my numerous orders.
I hope you have better luck...

Yeah, normally I'm not one to complain like that, but the service has been awful. On my most recent call they told me that half of the staff had gone home, as Friday was a half day. When I mentioned that I've been trying to get a human on the phone for 2 days I was informed that the guy who handles the cancellations checks his voicemail every 30 minutes and automatically cancels orders as he retrieves his messages. The call basically ended with the rep first telling me that he couldn't help me cancel my order, only a second later to tell me that it was already cancelled. When I asked if a confirmation would be sent, or if the status on the web would update (so I could place the order elsewhere and not dupe everything), he got nasty and said he would have to transfer me since I didn't believe him that the order was cancelled. He proceeded to drop me back into their IVR main menu.

Never again. It's a shame too, because the prices were great and I've heard the print quality is nice. I'll gladly pay a few extra bucks to avoid the bad attitude of an overworked call center rep.

Just to share an absolutely positive experience with Adorama:

On Monday I ordered about $65 worth of pictures (many of them taking advantage of the $1.99 11x14" premium lustre prints). I paid for UPS Next Day delivery because some of the pictures were bridals for tomorrow's wedding (Saturday).

The website notified me Monday that the package had shipped. I thought, wow, that's impressive. But ... Tuesday rolls around, no package. I thought, that's okay, it probably didn't really ship until Tuesday. So Wednesday rolls around, still no package. Now I'm wondering what's up, but I'm too busy Wednesday to really think about it.

Thursday morning I check UPS's website and guess what? The package had arrived Tuesday morning at 9am when neither my wife nor I were home. And for some reason ... THEY SENT IT BACK!!! I have no idea why. I put the blame squarely on UPS for this fact.

Regardless, I called Adorama and they said they would re-print and re-ship the entire order, free of charge. That was yesterday afternoon. This morning at 9:30 the package arrived.

I've purchased over 20 of their 11x14's now, and a whole bunch of other pictures in just the last few weeks and I gotta say, I'M IMPRESSED with their quality and their service. I doubt the price on the 11x14's will last, but it certainly did the "trick" for getting me to try them out.
