| Just wondering if there are other sites like this for picture challenges that you guys participate in? |

There is:
//www.betterphoto.com which has contests in catagories every month and
//www.digitalphotocontest.com which has contests and critiques every day you also could win prizes on this one.

A huge site for photography with challenges for different levels (i.e. beginner and advanced). They have a Photoshop challenge too for those who like to do extensive edit to their work.

| I was participating for a short time on PhotoPoints.com. It's a good site, I just found that I enjoy DPChallenge more. |

Probably the 2sec shutter speed and the f20 aperture. May some gaussian blur added.

| I personally like DPChallenge a LOT better than those other sites. It's a lot easier to use. Isn't cluttered with loads of info and news. Contest results on main page. Nice clean layout. More websites should be like this. |

I've been looking at joining another site myself. At the moment I am only submitting at DPC and at //www.digitalphotonut.com/dpn/dpnhome.nsf/homepage4?openform.

There are lots of choices, and many of them are excellent. Each one has its pros and cons. I enjoy DPChallenge, Digital Photo Contest, and Fred Miranda the most. I have won some software and cash prizes at //www.DigitalPhotoContest.com and at //www.BestFoto.com which is kind of nice. Fred Miranda allows editing photos to get the best work possible from an image, if you want an outlet for more post processing.
In general, all three that I mentioned above have great contests, and great community in the forums. Miranda recently started a weekly challenge in their Macro forum, for those who might be interested!

| There is a Hungarian site, translated as Photoruns, started not much ago, but I think quite a few of us would understand it (because it is in Hungarian). I am also interested in having commentable portfolios. But I think first some improve I really need till that time. |

I've been posting to Trek Earth, which is nice because it features photos from all over the world and has discovering the world through photography (and vice versa) as its main goal.
