Thoughts on this one.. from my backyard.
What do you think of the composition?

Real nice.
What was the lighting condition? Natural, flash or other?

| dappled sunlight. Had to wait for the breeze to settle down. I was actually chasing a very odd bug,, it got away but the leaves are pretty cool all by themselves. |

Very nice!
Simple and striking, good composition. Great colours. I'm a big fan of dappled sunlight foliage shots.
It's good to see less obvious Photoshoppery (that's what you wanted, right?! ;-) ) |

| The colors are totally awesome. I really like the two vertical lines ... leaf ad the red stem. I'd like to see the leaf in focus. |

Thanks, it was being unco-operative. There was a slight breeze blowing and to get the dof and background treatment I was having a bear of a time. This was the most in focus one of the lot.
