I know that they are marketed by Ritz camera and can actually be made by Tamron or Sigma, but I forgot I had one for a SLR and I bet it would work for a DSLR but I know nothing of them. Is it marketable to sell? It will probably be awhile before I can afford a DSLR so I thought I might see if anybody was interested in it. I bought it from a professional photog years ago, when I knew nothing about cameras and I don't know much more now. LOL

I really couldn't find much info using Google. But, EBay returned a few results. Though not for THAT lens. Promaster = Quantum = I don't think they cost much new or are of good quality. But, don't quote me.

I have a Promaster lens that is made by Tamron and when I owned the Tamron 24-135, I compared it to my Promaster 28-200 and saw very little difference. The Tamron was more contrasty but the sharpness was the same.
Not all Promaster lenses are junk....however, I would not buy one ;-) I prefer the Canon lenses.
Edit: If you sold it, you won't get much for it.
