Isn't this the cutest idea?!?! You can have YOUR favorite image on your postage stamps. Love the idea for holiday cards or for mass mailings for the business.

We've done this quite a few times. They're really cute! Expensive, but cute.

we thought about doing that. this year, though, it was cost prohibitive. it would be fun, though.

I often have an image sized for 4x5 (8x10), but I want to get a 4x6 print made. I add an extra inch to the canvas, and put three more tiny copies of the image in the empty space.

Use those tiny images with some glue/glue-stick as seals on the back of the envelope (though not as postage!) ... : )

Here is an example:

I saw this when CBS Sunday morning did a story about it. I can't imagine paying 50% more for already expensive postage. There ARE exceptions to every rule. I would use this for special ocassions, i.e. Wedding Invitations and stuff like that.

I think it's funny how they mask the huge price gouge by only pricing by the sheet:
1 sheet (20 stamps) = $17.99 ($.90/stamp)
100-499 sheet (per sheet) = $12.99 ($.65/stamp) (2000-9980 stamps)

They've gotta make a buck somehow, I guess, and there's a sucker around every corner.

If you were going to have a mass mailing, or be using them for a large wedding, I could see buying 100 sheets or more.

Invitations, rsvp envelopes, thank you cards, etc. could easily add up to 2000 stamps.
