My friend and I will be running some bowling tournaments around here. I really don't want to get to detailed (don't want anyone stealing our idea). But, I came up with an idea that would set us apart from the other tournaments around. Here is my problem/question...since we are planning almost 2 months ahead of time, I would like to have the owner/manager of the bowling alley we make an agreement with to sign a short contract reserving a certain amount of lanes at a certain price per game. Though, I doubt they would go for it....I would also like to include a clause that if they don't hold up their end to have some recourse for us..be it free bowling, money, whatever. Can anyone with some legal expertise help?

I believe that NoLo has a lot of self help stuff. Personally, I would have a lawyer in your state either draft something or at least run their eyes over your output from the self help places. |

Thanks. I saved the link. I'll check it out tomorrow, then check out lawyers in the area.
