Hi all,

I've been authorized to buy a point&shoot for work. Here are the desirable features:

1. Size

It should be really small, like those little tiny pocket-sized ones. The smaller the better.

2. Macro mode

We'll use it lot to take pictures of small parts, so a good quality macro mode would be desirable.

3. Movie mode

We'd also like to be able to use it to make short "movies", or mpegs.

4. Megapixels

I'd say this is actually NOT important. I think that any camera out there is going to have more than enough megapixels for us.

Budget is flexible. We don't want to break the bank,so it would be nice to keep the price under, say, $300.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

You won't beat the Fuji Finepix F30 for $215. Review here.

Tiny, 6.3MP, ISO 3200, VGA movie mode, focuses to 2.5cm, manual controls, long battery life. Yummy!
