I have been trying my hand at shooting in raw, and would like to know what is the standard workflow when editing? I have something called Image Data Converter SR which converts the raw file into other mediums that might be opened in a photo editing package. What is the best format to save in, and what kind of adjustments do you do on the raw file before saving? I want to get the very best image I can. I don't have photo shop but my photo impact has many similar functions. My raw converter has a lot of color management functions, which is what was lacking in the photo impact. I know there have been many threads redgarding RAW, so even if someone can direct me to a past thread, I'd appreciate it.
