Most of your black and whites are too flat for me. There is not enough range in tonality. However, this could easily be improved with some photoshop work. I also would like the depth of field to be a little more shallow in some of them. (the portrait shots) Composition seems fine to me in most. Also, I give you an extra point or two for the guys shirt.

		| Thank-you for replying! I need a good photo program, I am only working with programs that came with stuff I have bought:( And when I get my pentax K10D I will have so much more control with my Pictures. I feel very comfortable with my film SLR, but with a point and shoot not so much.....I know it is all in who is taking the picture and not the camera, but I still think there is a differance in the possible outcome between a P&S and SLR. |

I really like your makro shots, very nicely done, especially the peach on the fork.
The "Snowbranch" photo's I'd prefer to have just a little further back, you were in a bit too close for my taste.

And I really like the apple in your misc. shots!

Keep up the good work. |

		| I'm with jan_vdw on you peach/fork shot, one of your best. What program do you use for now? Did they give you PS Elements with your camera? If not, that's a good starter program (and cheaper) to introduce you to Photoshops functionality. It seems some images loose some sharpness due to resizing. If any of your programs have a sharpen feature give it a whirl (but not too much) after resizing to make them "pop" a bit more at this small size. Keep up the good work. |

		| $79 at Amazon, free shipping plus an extra $20 rebate so $59 after all is said and done. Some people use a program called Gimp (which is free), but I don't have any experience or know where to get it, so can't comment on it. |
