I think it would be a major benefit to have the challenge description below the challenge topic on the voting page. It's a one-liner coding issue, takes up exceptionally little real estate on the page, and ensures voters see the challenge description, not just the topic.

That would make it harder for me to shoehorn my entries, though....

:-)

do you think that's necessairy? you know what you're voting at, right?

and, what's shoehorn?

we'll amend it to ' ... below all entries except Deb's."

From the diagonal thread:

I know what I'm voting on but I'm positive there are a (high?) number of people who don't read the description or mentally massage the description after a day or two.

Yes, I think it's necessary.

Shoehorn: to make the entry fit, even if it shouldn't.

:)

As my pappy used to say, "It don't hurt nuthin" (as far as I can see) and has the potential to help.

Mental massages: $5 :)

You do realize if you keep saying nice things about him that he wont go away right? Its like the lost puppy that you pet once then he follows you home and wont leave.

Thank you kindly! And now I must go process a shoehorned entry....

Oh, wait. I just re-read the actual description, and by golly, I think it fits! So you can go ahead and put the description on my entry this week. In fact, I think it might help. Thanks ever so much! :-)

The question is, does anyone? Why obfuscate that which should be obvious?

To answer your question, no I didn't know that; I thought that had something to do with comments.

But still, why *shouldn't* it be written above the scale and under the challenge topic? Hiding it makes no sense.
