I believe this is why the stock agencies maintain a payout minimum -- it takes a while to sell enough to get a check, and hopefully frauds are found long before they actually GET the money earned.

That's nice wishful thinking, teammate :-) The reason they maintain a payout minimum is that otherwise they'd be cutting a gazillion tiny checks every day and the administrative overhead would eat them alive.
