As the cold season comes around, I'm finding more people want me to photograph them and less ideas on how to do so. I don't have a studio. I tried to have a make shift studio, where I gut a room out in my house and set up a background with some work lights, but I worry that won't look remotely professional....just cheap and amateur like. I like shoot on location also. But, if it's cold out, snowing, raining, etc. I believe that it would be hard to convince someone to stand out in the cold for me to take photos of them. Especially if they have to take off their jacket.

So I'm asking if there is any trick to shooting people on locating during the winter? Any ideas on how to keep your model warm while shooting? Someone give me ideas soon because I have shoots booked in Dec. and two in January...and I know it will be freezing cold by then.
