It seems to be a problem for most of us, and an irritating problem it is. We all have our different way of solving it; cleaning it ourselves or have it done for us.
Last winter and spring I had sensor dust all the time. I used swabs and did ok, except for once were the dust just was stuck and I had to have it done in the shop. I also bought a blower and somethimes that was enough.

Then I met a professional photographer and among other things I asked him what he does to try to keep the dust at bay.
1. always remember to turn the camera off when changing lenses.
2. always turn the "opening" downwards when you change lenses.

These two things have been really helpful. I have only had to clean the sensor once since April, and only had to use the blower.
Any one else have any good advice on how to keep the sensor dustfree, feel free to add it here.

Apparently changing lenses at the beach isn't good practice. (Personal experience)
