Does anyone have any tips for developing photographic hand eye coordination? I can always visualize wonderful pictures in my head, but when I attempt them, the have a poor, unproffesional look about them, and most of the time do not have the desired effect. This could be an equipment related problem ( i only have a sony handheld camera, no lights, no backgrounds, etc..) but i was just wondering what some of the excersises other photographers with this problem employ. |

Specific examples to be commented on would help you much more IMO. Linking to an image and asking, "What skills do I need to develope in order to improve this image?" |

You might want to check out the book discussed in this thread called Learning to See Creatively.
Edit for the newer link.

I agree with Eug here... along with technicals, there are too many artistic decisions to be made.
Even if we did a thread 1001 ways to take better photos, we'd be missing something.
