So I just bought a new MacPro last weekend with Aperture on the side. Saw the requirement of 2gb ram for this computer so I added yet another gb of ram. I installed the program and it won't stay opened!!

I then installed the program that came with the 30d...now that won't stay opened. And on top of that, the pictures all seemed to be corrupt somehow. All the RAW pictures come out "raw" and all the jpeg pictures come out weird.

Anyone have any comments or experience similar situations like this?

When you say that the programs wont remain open, do you mean they crash? And do you receive an error message?

If it says that the program had "Unexpectedly Quit", then check your OSX version. (Apple Menu > About This Mac.)

Make sure you are using 10.4.8 and Aperture v1.5.1. You may also need to update "Pro Applications Support".

Just run your software updater and get anything you reckon applies to OSX, Aperture, or pro apps.

Otherwise... how do you find aperture???
