Is it possible to do this with PS or anything?
I want to automate the addition of an images title to the image itself so it is visible when printed out?
Easy enough to do manually for a couple of pics, though for a folder of 500+?
I don't have the option to do this with any of my RAW converters - I though they would offer this?!?
Any help appreciated...

| I haven't seen this option in any RAW converter. However, you could convert everything to tiff through the converter then run a batch using photoshop running an action that would put the title on the images in the batch and sav them in whatever format you want. |

| PS action is what I originally thought, but how would the action pick up the name of the file to convert to text ON the image? |

If all the images will have the same title, like a watermark type title, you could do a batch edit on them....file>automate>batch. Otherwise each one would have to be done individually.

| Take a look here. Seems like you would be able to place your titles in the IPTC data and then modify the script to pull the information for each photo and generate a new one with the correct information on it. |

Looks like that could do it - But I only have Version 6. It requires version 7
