I guess that the wisdom of the SC has gone over my head, so can anyone straighten me out and help me understand why submitted photos that don't even come close to meeting the challenge not be given a low vote. I don't want to be a troll, but I respect the work of the many who sometimes go to great lengths to submit work that does meet all the criteria. At its extreme, an example would be someone who submits a nude for a landscape challenge. However, I do believe in an artist's interpretation of a challenge. I guess that I am only referring to extreme examples.

a nude could be showing the landscape of the body or a bodyscape which is where you make parts of the body look like things( boobs made to look like mountains).

I try to give the benefit of the doubt. sometimes people shoe horn things in "i shot the cool sunset how do i make it fit in the electric challenge" but maybe what the person submitted is what that challenge means to them and who am i to tell them that their idea of old is not old (thinking of the something old challenge) a stronger connection to the challenge will get higher votes from me but i try my best to not be a big DNMC guy (it still happens sometimes though.

There we go, making mountains out of boobs again... :-)

Wait, wasn't that supposed to be mole hills? Oh well, boobs are cuter.
