I'm on vacation (happy thanksgiving by the way).
I was shooting pics og ducks at apond with my wife and daughter - My D70 all of the sudden announced that it would no longer be taking pictures --
my card was aparently not formatted (FOR appeared on the top screen). Well i had filled the card about half way with stuff i'd like to have ... The computer i gave to my mother in law (Mac G4) recognizes the card only when I use DISK UTILITy but will not allow repairs or anything.
ANYONE have any ideas?

There have been several threads with software posted intended to recover files from CF card., unfortunately I don't have any of them bookmarked. :(
There is software that may be able to help, provided you do not write to the disk between now and using it.
