2002: 2 threads with troll in title and 35 where the word was used at least once
2003: 11 titled/ 103 threads
2004: 4 titled/ 128 threads
2005: 7 titled/ 294 threads
2006 (to date): 18 titles (6 this month alone)/ 468 threads
I conclude, that at this rate we will be totally overrun with trolls by 2008 and there will be none who have not been assimilated! Run, Loosey Goosey, the sky is falling! |

That's insane! C'mon people, let's give it up. The trolls probably feed on this attention. We should all completely STOP talking about it and then they wont have any fun anymore! Their powers will abate and they will shrivel up into nothingness. Whatdaya say folks...are you in? C'mon, who's with me? |

Troll is a pretty common term on the internet but I've never seen it used with as wide and liberal a definition as it is here, where it's applied to anyone who doesn't have warm, fuzzy 10+ feelings about your work. There have always been complaints but this year, as KaDi's stats support, the whining has been off the charts.
