....but you can't blow out a fire.
For those that get discouraged, once the wind blows, the fire will catch and blaze higher.
Don't ever give up, or give in.
Let those creative juices flow.
Experiment.
It's not about the equipment. It's not about having better gear. It's not about Photoshop.
It is about your eye and what you see. It is about forethought. It is about detail.
There is no correct way for art sake.
There are guidelines, but they are just that. They are not rules set in stone.
Let the wind blow that fire higher in your journey as a photograper.
That's all.

Nice sentiments. I know I've had those "DPC blues" when an image I thought was great wasn't scoring well. You are right, it's all about having fun and keeping at it.
