| These past two months have been crazy for me and I've wished I could go out shooting more. I'm just ranting because I want to be able to have more time and feel good enough to shoot. With school and Strep throat I haven't had time. This past Friday I had to go get my tonsils taken out and I just finished my pain medicine tonight. My happy juice is gone, eeek! I was thinking it might be fun to go take some pictures while I'm drugged up and see what they'd turn out lookin like. I don't even know why I'm posting here, my throat hurts and the medicine is just kicking in and I just feel like talking to myself or something. I don't know. I've just been in bed most of the day and wanted to say hi. Getting your tonsils out isn't that much fun, except the part when they give you valium to calm you down before the surgery. I woke up and the first thing I told the doctor was to tell my wife I would like some homemade chicken noodle soup and those bugsicle popsicles. They all thought I was hilarious and I don't even remember a thing. Well I'll let you all go, and then I'll get back to doing something else. All of my Spongebob cartoons are deleted from my Tivo and there is nothing for me to do. Being sick is boring. Oh yeah, I like everyones pictures in the light challenge. There is some cool ones in there. Thank you for my rambling on in my sickness and boredness. I;m not crazy, just a little on my pain meds :) Have a happy night everyone! |

| wow, I was out of it a little bit last night. I didn't know how good that medicine really worked until this morning when I didn't have any and I woke up with the worst headache and can't swallow. I wrote one of my teachers at school an email to let them know that I would be missing today and I think it was a little off the wall as well. Oh-well. Well I was thinking that this 5 to 8 day recovery from surgery was a bunch of bull until I woke up with no medicine. This really sucks. Anyway have a great day. |

It says I have 53 years left, which means I will die at the ripe old age of 91!!

I hope you are feeling better. It is no fun to have your tonsils out as an adult. I went through that. For young kids, it is a quick recovery, mostly watching cartoons and eating popsicles. For adults, it is a very painful recovery! I don't know why it is so different... maybe kids just don't know how to act miserable yet. I feel your pain! God speed...

I did that too a few years ago. NOT FUN!!! I wasn't sure it was worth it, and still am not, although I've enjoyed not getting strep throat all the time. It is true that is much more difficult recovery for an adult than a child. I'd honestly rather have a drug free baby delivery than to do that again. : ) Anyway, with that, I wish you the best!
