OK, it's not real, but Ethan wanted me to take a photo of his new toy. I decided to try and take a nice photo, even though he didn't care one way or the other 30 seconds later.

I curved a piece of blue mat board to place the truck on. I had my kids hold a piece of white mat board above the truck. I bounced my 580ex flash straight up at the white mat board.

As for the shot of Ethan, I had him stand next to our white refrigerator. I bounced the flash off the fridge to side light Ethan.

Both shots were on manual setting, I think 1/200 sec and f 5.0. 20D and 24-70 f2.8L.

Just playing and thought I'd share. Comments are welcome!
