First of all, I just published my new Website, www.nordarts.com - it took me weeks to put together. I added a card store - please let me know what you think.

Second, some people here remember that I am accident prone while I am out taking photos. I took a friend of mine up to Denny Creek yesterday so she could get a photo like the one I have here. We had had some rain and the water level was higher. The rocks that I walked out on for my shot were either under water or wet. I figured the wet rocks would be just fine. I fell twice :). My shoes were so slippery that I couldn't get back up again, it was like I was tying to stand up on ice so I had to crawl back up the rock. I didn't fall into the water, just down the rock. If that wasn't bad enough, I knocked over my camera bag (don't worry, my camera was safe) and, from an unzipped compartment, out flew my cell phone. The rest was like watching someone on a waterslide ride at the amusement park. The phone slid down the big rock and plopped right into the rushing waters and, well, I might be able to find it next summer. Thanks for reading. |

Jo Ann, what a wonderful site. Really clean site and easy to navigate. Looks great. I've been putting together a site too for the past 2 weeks. //www.photojacko.com. Lots of fun.

Hi JoAnn,
A terrific web site and beautiful photos!!! Very nice work all the way around... the photo cards are a great idea - how do you adhere the photo to the card?
Just FYI - I noticed that I couldn't use the left nav links from the contact page. |

Very nice site Jo Ann - the color scheme is very pleasing, and the site is easy to navigate. Now comes the fun part - maintaining the site! (Please see mine....) I love your photos - very beautiful!

Thanks all. I was just taking another look at it and found some broken links. Gosh, it's a big job putting a site together :).
tfaust - Thanks for letting me know about those links. I'll fix them tomorrow. I actually use double-stick tape around all four sides of the photo. Because I make so many, I bought a dispenser from 3M that makes the gluing a breeze.
jacko and mcrael, I want to look at your Web sites and will do so tomorrow from work where I have a much faster connection.

LOL, I have hiking boots. Maybe you should just send me some common sense instead?

I just want everybody to know, again, what a wonderful community we have here. The compliments and encouragement about my work is invaluable. I especially want to thank you Tina, for taking the time to turn my site inside out and let me know about problems and how to fix them -- especially when you do that sort of thing for a living.
I must go now and pick up my new cell phone :) |
