The camera is fine. Its the willpower that was showing cracks for about a month now, and now the floodwaters of avarice have crumbled the wall down whole.
So I ordered a Canon 30D. And I also ordered the TC80N3 timer/remote control for EOS.
They should be here Wednesday. Why can't they be here NOW, dagnabbit??
Knowing the way things usually go with my gadget purchases, I wouldn't be surprised if the 40D came out tomorrow. :D |

Such is the way of things, the 30D came out shortly after I bought my copy of the 20D, but, then, you could wait forever.

Congrats on new gear. I'm sure you'll enjoy them. The TC-80N3 in particular is a very cool tool.

I really look forward to trying some time-lapse action with the remote. At the very least, I need to stop shaking the camera every time I press the shutter! |

Oh woe and dalmatians!
Why, UPS? Why do you send my package to Forth Worth, Texas? I am here - in New York City! This way, over here! Hellooo?
Sigh.. It was supposed to be here today, but looks like I'll have to make do with my 10d for another several days..
My least favorite part of ordering online. |

UPS ground is so slow.
Hard to believe there is a UPS nascar, lol..
