I must let everyone know I have to give a huge "THANK YOU" to Jennifer ( jenesis)
I had a long time friend get married last weekend. They asked me to shoot their wedding and I kept saying I was no pro and didn't want to do this because of so much pressure. They kept insiting that I was the one for the job and they didn't want anyone else to shoot their wedding. Well after looking at the list they needed I asked if they would pay Jennifer to come out and help. They agreed and Jennifer the great person that she is came out and spent the day running around like mad a taking photos of this wedding with me for little money.

mine are there as well.
I have never claimed to be a pro and be able to do this kind of stuff but without Jennifer's help most if not all of these photos would not have been possible.
I just got off the phone with the Bride and Groom and they along with both sets of parents are really pleased with the photos and have stated that Jennifer and I have done an excellent job an are grateful we were there to capture their day.

That's how I got started. I kept saying no, no, no, no, well... okay. Then it happened again, and again and again (different people each time, obviously!). Well, after shooting all those weddings I decided I had enough experience to "make a go at it". So here I am, thousands of dollars of equipment and a lot more experience later...

Browsed your album James, and it's obvious that your friend was right to insist that you shoot their wedding. You knew just what to do... call Jen! heh heh :) Fabulous work, you two! If ya'll were a wee bit closer together you could team up regularly. Great album, great shots, congrats to you & Jen and to the newlyweds, too.

Oh Goodness gracious! :-) A huge Thank you to you, James, for letting me tag along. It was fun (work, but fun) and they were such a nice family.
If they like the unedited photos, hopefully they'll LOVE the edited ones. :-) Thanks again for letting me get my feet wet in that crazy thing they call "wedding photography". :-)
Next time, I promise I won't get lost on the way to the wedding!!
Edit: Next time, maybe I can get them to look my way once in awhile!! LOL! :-)

| What a great story about two very cool people. Just confirms what I already knew. Jenesis is a very classy lady with talent to match her very good heart. :) |

Awwwww, thanks guys. Ya'll are sweet. :-) I have to say that James really took charge there and commanded everyones attention while doing the group shots (and there were many, just about every combination you could imagine)
Here he is in action. They had no idea that they were getting an added bonus of not only a photographer, but a dancing photographer. Here  rex is jumping around singing "Bubbles! Bubbles!"
Ha, ha!! Gotcha!! Told you I was going to post this one. Hmmmmm, I hope you have nothing incriminating on me. :-) |

You did great man...photos came out terrific.
Congrats Jennifer ! Looks like everyone had a wonderful time, and you will have some levely photos to remember forever. |

Not my wedding, I just helped Rex photograph it. :-) But I'm sure I'll remember the photos for awhile at least. LOL!! ;-) |

You guys did a great job with this wedding! :) I enjoyed looking at the whole gallery, very professional stuff from both of you :) Bubble, bubble. lol
