Dreamed 11/17/2006 - awoke @ 3:56 am est.
The dream starts of suddenly with myself and another unknown man looking up at the sky. The following is an account of my dream as the events unfolded. As I looked up toward they sky, what seemed to have been around a 60 degree altitude facing the south-southeast were three jets approaching each other from different directions in the sky. One small jet, possibly corporate owned that had just taken off and was climbing, heading in an eastern direction. The second jet, which was much large, was at the highest altitude and appeared to be flying south-southwest. At an altitude between the two jets was a Fed-ex L1011. A very large bodied jet with two engines, one under each wing, and a third engine on top at the tailfin. The Fed-Ex jet was lower than his normal flying pattern causing the small jet and himself to have to take evasive action to keep from colliding. Iâm not sure if they collided or the Fed-Ex jet was already in trouble but it was descending for an emergency landing. He was flying in a north-northwest direction.
The fed-ex jet continued to descend but was trying to turn to his right to align with an interstate that ran north to south. I donât know what interstate it was but it had to end in a â5â. It appeared to me that the jet had no hydraulics and was trying to make the slight turn with engine power. I continued to watch as the jet set down on the highway in a crash landing. The outcome of the landing, even though rough and mangled, seems to be not as bad as one would expect. The highway traffic was moderate at the time of the crash landing but as the north bound cars came around an curve south of the scene they began to go out of control as they found them selves approaching the site of the crash.
This is where the dream turns into something I canât explain and caused me to write it down. As the cars and trucks began to slide and create a multi-car pile up my attention is drawn to this white truck that has slid off into the medium and now is finding himself out of control as his vehicle begins to go back across the highway perpendicular to the traffic. He broadsides another truck, a Fed-EX truck, sending in out of control and sliding of the right hand of the highway. As I watch the truck slide sideways I see a tent and people and immediately know itâs a funeral, but wait, itâs a funeral for a fed-ex employee with fed-ex employees attending as the truck crashes through the tent filled will people. I see bodies being run over, thrown, and hurled into the air from the collision.
At this point I am standing on what seems to be an off ramp of the highway that holds all the carnage. The unknown man that accompanied me at the beginning of the dream is once again standing on my left side. By this time a team of people had arrived to access the situation. What team, I donât know. A man came up from behind the unknown man and me and told him, âGet to work and help clean this mess upâ. He said it in a tone that made him seam to be a bad guy with authority. As the unknown man turn to him the guy said, â You once worked with us now do what I saidâ, and he did. At that moment I felt there was some kind of cover up or conspiracy going on so I began to walk away to the right pretending as if I had not seen anything. I only had seen the aftermath of what happened. The man began to follow me. As I looked back to see him their was a helicopter in the air to the west. It seemed to be the news or a medical chopper. But as it approached the scene it lost power and control and crashed as well. I began to walk faster but could not get away from this man that seemed to be in charge of crowed/witness control.
The rest of the dream was about me getting away from this man and eventual I did but not without having to do everything in my power. I will continue with the rest of the dream if you wish but to me it is not as meaningful as the first part. My question is why such a detailed dream and why all the fed-ex connections and what seemed to be a cover up? Anyone care to see if they can see the meaning of such a dream? If there is one!

Wow, that's quite the dream!
I've always found that I can always relate most (if not all) of the things in my dreams to events, people, tv shows, ideas, etc. of things that I recently experience. So, if I were to have dreamed that dream, I would try to think back to recent events involving fed-ex, airplanes, public funerals, and seeing someone sketchy looking. Aside from the funeral, those are all what I would consider fairly normal things to experience or see (even if just on tv).
In terms of what the dreams mean, I've never thought they mean anything except as possibly a reflection of what is running through your mind.
The last dream I had involved my roommate leaving (he's moving out soon), time travel (I recently watched an episode of Heroes), a humanitarian organization (which I've seen a lot of posters for recently), an open window (I thought my cats had managed to escape the other day), and taking pictures of death valley (that would be from dpc). Altogether, it was a horrible horrible mess and I woke up feeling confused. Then I thought through it, made all the connections, and went back to sleep again.

SG, I know what you mean about the level of detail, it's as if you are supposed to remember them for some reason. It could be precognitive, only time will tell.
I had a similar detailed dream the night before last:
I was on a plane, it was Emirates airline.But the plane was driving along a motorway (highway). I asked the person next to me 'why are we driving and not taking off' and he said the pilot had to wait till he got out of the city boundaries.
Then this person said
'You know it's been predicted that this plane will crash?'
I said 'No'.
He continued 'yes it's supposed to crash in the Water Front/Fount building.
Water fountain?I asked
'No Water Front, he replied
'Water font? I said
'You're not LISTENING..WATER FRONT!
Then I saw the building through the window - it was anew elegantly designed skyscraper with like a diamond shaped top. The sun was behind it shrouded in heavy mist/pollution.
Then he told me in the prediction a man called Howard is on the plane.
So I turn to the rest of the passengers and ask it there is anyone called Howard on board and about 10 men put their hands up.
I ask the pilot to just stop the plane and then the prediction won't come true..but he says he can't and it wouldn't change anything.
There was more but not so detailed.
I got the feeling this building was in the middle east - Qatar or Dubai. |

The subconcious is a weird yet wonderful place. Dreams can tell you so much about yourself. I mean what if lions atacked your house.. What would be your instincts..I realized I was the take action type of a person while another person with a similar dream narrated that they were frozen with fear..
I do believe dreams can have meaning.. Sometimes they tell me I've been spending too much time on DPc(I've spent time looking for PP instructions for one ribbon winning shot in a dream)..other times they tell me I'm plain weird... (Demonic Persian cats!!??)
The only time my dream's had a meaning was when I was away from home and a significant result was coming out..
I kept freaking out about it because I wasn't sure when it was coming out and one day before sleeping I looked heavenwards (I know I'm very melodramatic ^_^) and said I needed to know the results "now"..
Next day at breakfast I remembered a dream I had about my results in which I got 6 A's and instead of the D in Maths, I was expecting, I was getting a B.
Next day my dad called home.. Guess whose result had been out for two days.. Creepy deja vu was that it was the same as I had seen it except in Maths I had an A!

| I just see dreams as a mish mash of current events, happenings, angsts, bean burritos, etc. I like the really crazy dreams I get when I have a fever. |
