I purchaced the armor for my D70 and D70s today. I highly recommend gettin this gear. It was only 49.99 per unit and it comes with an attachment for lens'. It's made of heavy duty rubber and all of the buttons and features still work VERY cool product. Calumet carries it and I tested it today by dropping it from a foot and a half off a desk and it just bounced safely with no proplems. Very cool stuff. Give it a trie.

DSLR Armor

Believe it or not, my 30D fell (alright, was pulled by a cat) off our kitchen island and traveled 3 feet to the kitchen floor. After picking it up and shaking it to listen for anything that may have broken loose, I squeezed off a few shots and everything seemed okay. That's been three months ago, and everything is fine with the camera and lens. Not even a scratch on the camera. After going through this with no apparent damage, I don't think I'll be spending the cash on the armor...the camera seems tough enough as it is. I can see the armor coming in handy while hiking, etc if you want to keep your camera around your neck and not fiddle with a bag or back whenever the opportunity arose for a picture. The cat's still alive, but he's down to 8 lives...
