My dear lady and myself have fun with a little boredom killing project we do once in a while. We call it "Take 5". Simply put, you grab 5 random objects around the house and you have to create an image with at least one or all of the objects within the composition. It really pushes the creative juices and makes you explore perspective, lighting, DOF yada yada yada. Its a great way to throw yourself off balance and view ordinary things in such a way that makes them interesting. It might be an excellent educational challenge that pushes us to boil the creative juices and stepout of our genre of photos. What could you do with a paperclip, a hairbrush, snorkel, bar of soap and a coffee filter. Hmmmm ..... three glasses of wine should put that together nicely. ;-)
