Was out and about yesterday, without camera, and say the most amazing light effect I have ever seen.
Simply a shaft of light coming doen through thick black clouds. However, it was really bright, and where it hit the ground, maybe 20 Km away, it formed a dome of light (maybe 1 Km diameter) and was absolutely amazing.
To be honest, if it got entered here in a comp I think there would have been a flood of DQ requests as this was so unbelievable people would think it was faked.
Without a camer it sadly became "the one that got away". |

Me, too. A single goose flying across a half moon in a slightly cloudy sky, the sun not quite risen. RATS! The perfect "All Alone" entry. I'm not that bummed, though. My camera wouldn't have done it justice.

It sounds like you had a paranormal experience. Maybe there was a UFO above those clouds. I really miss the X-files!!!!
