I've got a couple of questions for people use to D2X.
One is because of the noise. I've readed a lot of reviews to the camera, and most of them pointed ou the high iso noise as the major issue in the camera. is this true? is it still usabel up to iso 800? Can you place an example? If so please send me one file with iso 800 to nuno.photo@gmail.com in jpeg so I can analise it, please.
The olher issue is about Rawshooter. Can the files be onened in RSPremium? I've also readed about the WB information beeing putted in a part of the exif that some programs don't open it. Is this a real issue?
Because I've seen a very good promotion on D2X that I can try to make an efford to get it over the D200 with grip, witch was my first option for upgrading the D70.
All your comments are more than wellcome.

If I remember right, part of the upgrades to the D2Xs is better noise performance. Are you looking at a D2X, or D2Xs?

The D2X. it's on a big promotion right know. I think that some stores must have bought a lot of this and now that the D2XS is comming they want to get them out.

I thought I read recently that the firmware upgrade to the D2X gives it most of the functions of the D2Xs (Nikon seems to do right by it's customers in the firmware - unlike Canon). It's possible that the noise was one item in the firmware upgrade but I an a Cannon-ite, so cannot confirm.
RSP is not been updated for the new cameras but ask that question over at the pixmantec forums - there was someone who was able to modify the RAW file header to make RSP pick up the file for something - I don't recall if that was for the D2Xs.

| Everything I've read said that the camera's are exaclty the same except for some menu options, USB speed, and the high-speed crop has a mask function in the viewfinder. |
