Just a small heads up for anyone looking for memory
I just bought a "simpletech" 256mb compact flash card for 49.99 at sams club. This card's much faster than my kodak CF of the same size and the price is great. However there was no listing in the store and the person i spoke too wasn't even aware there was such a thing so you have to be persistent and specific i.e. "it's the film of digital cameras" or "It's what holds the picture information when you take a picture with a DIGITAL CAMERA" you may have to come up with a few of your own depending on who you speak to.
BTW....
While I was there I saw secure digital and smart media cards as well also not listed in the store

Whoa - two days ago, having inadvertently gone out without the CF card (it awas still in the reader), I was offered a 64Mb card for £32, which is pretty near the same price, here in London.

The General is correct. It's good that memory is going down in price.
