I need to take a moment to show some gratitudeâ€Â¦

I have been a member of this site for less than a year, but have been learning a great deal here (I hope). I am relatively new to photography. I started digital with a Minolta Dimage 414 p&s. I then moved to the Dimage 7i SLR (which I still enjoy using on occasion), and have recently managed to get my first DSLR. I love taking pictures! Junkie-love. Anyway, I need to say thank you to a good many people who have been taking time out to answer questions for me (or who have been dispensing knowledge to others while I digitally eves-dropped). This list is not complete; these are simply the most recent contributions. I would like to thank the following people for lending me a hand:

BradP (who should likely be given an honorary title as patron saint to newbie DPCers)

Digital_quixote (who I think has changed his screen name?)

I just shot my first (no charge) portrait gig. I intended to put a few of the resulting photos here along with my thanks, but on second thought decided that I should wait until after the current challenges are over (I don̢۪t like it when the anonymity is blown).
