I am brand new to the site and have questions about what is the best way to take photos, edit/crop them so they fall within the 150kb limit. I seem to have a real issue getting this done without losing photo quality. I use an Olympus C-740 and I have very limited photo editing software (I use Picasa from Google and the free trial version of Corel Photo Album 6) and was hoping to get some insight. Also, do any of you have any software recommendations? I know photoshop is out there but it is a bit expensive for my usage.
Thanks everyone.

I don't know much about that photo software specifically but I would look to see if they have a save for the web type of function. This will strip away things like exif data and optimize photos for web pages. I think if you try to save your photos just with the save button and the 150 kb limit you will have to change the size too small to get good votes. The site is slow at night and maybe try bumping it tommorrow afternoon when someone who has your software can help you out more. This probably wasn't that helpful, LOL. If you Google GIMP, it is a free editing software that I am sure can do what you need also.
