I just got RSE, did three versions of a RAW file, but nowhere do I see a way to save them - not as a single or the three versions I want to use. Can someone help?
I want to save each version as a separate file to use in Photomatix.
Thanks...

You have to run the batch processor once for each conversion you want to do. You specify what type of file to save (jpeg or tiff) and where you want to save it.

The program automatically numbers each conversion so they don't overwrite each other.

There's another tab up to the right, click on it select the options you want to save as, and hit the "add" button. You can add several photo's to the queue at a time.

Thanks ! I did finally save the file sets, but the HDR experiment did not go well :( An individual edit yielded better results.

That's not uncommon at first. HDR is a difficult process to get your head around. Keep experimenting. It could be the image (some images do HDR better than others). It could be the settings you did for your raw conversion (some versions of the file will merge together better than others). Or it may be your HDR technique. Play with all three.

For what it's worth ... I've decided I totally suck at HDR done via PhotoShop CS2. I haven't produced a usuable image with it yet. However, using PhotoMatix Pro, I have produced a bunch of them and even sold a few (one of them, a large one, for $110!!!).
