even here dpc is slow (from this morning). but there aren't problems with other USA sites.

I've had several periods today where it seemed to lock up tight for an extended length of time.

It's been locking up for me too, over the last couple hours. Always starts at 10 after. I wonder if there's a script running to slow it down at that time.

Ya...doesn't the registered members scores update at 10 past? That indicates to me there is a problem with that script and it is slowing the site down as it runs everyones scores through.

I think it related to the registered users script. My wife, who is a registered user, gets this for her Portrait image now:

That shows up once in awhile if you happen to time hitting the home page at exactly the wrong time. Just before I made my last post I had scores showing for 2 of the 3 active challenge entries I have, the other was displaying the message you just posted. Hit the update button and it clears it.

Nahhh...it's those damn trolls...they are angry over someone saying there is no such thing as trolls...so they ar stuffing bananas into the site's exhaust pipe!!!!

Exactly... it always happen at 10 after... it just did it again at 20:10 hrs while I was voting in a challenge

my morning almost stopped to a stand still when I realized that DPC couldn't load on my browser! ah... it's back to normal now, phew*

DPC wouldn't come up at all about 5 minutes ago. No other websites in my favs seemed affected.

Wouldn't time out - just hung trying to load any DPC page.

Might be some internet congestion near the DPC server, or hopefully not the server or it's ISP.

Geez...if this is what it is like now...what is it going to be like at rollover...when three large challenges have to be calculated and another two challenges start. OUCH...that will be some major hanging time.
