Here are a few of the shots I got at the Cheetah Girls show tonight. I was only allowed to stay and shoot the first 2 songs, than I had to leave.
God, I forgot how much I enjoy concert photography!!! I can it's been awhile (Since MAY!!!). I started getting nervous, shakey and butterflies in my tummy! I used to get that before every show I did... It's just such a high and there so much adrenaline running through my body as the lights go down, and that first bass line of the song hits. I forget that everything else in the world exsists, it's just me and the camera. I can feel the whole concert through my entire body.... the bass, the music, the crowd... but I can't quite hear the music. I get in that much of zone, that nothing else even matters. Any thoughts in my head are gone and I love that feeling! I feel high, happy and free. I know that I have a job to do. I have 5-15 minutes to get as many pictures as I can... and I have to make sure that I get it right. It's perfection at a very fast pace. It's me, my camera, and perfection - fast and furious! That is why I like concert photography so much!
