Hi all,
First, I setup the www.ppchallenge.com domain name. Feel free to use that link now, though the old ones still work.
There is now a registration page with two options to make it easier for DPC users to set their PPChallenge password.
Challenge #7 (Something Fishy) is now posted and accepting participants.
Challenge #6 is now open for voting. Your votes and comments are needed!
Congrats to freakin_hilarious for his winning edit in Challenge #5. Nice restoration work:
Cheers,
-Jeff

Thanks - fixed.
I forgot to mention: it now shows your current score for challenges in the voting stage under the My Stats page.

Bump for the M-F crowd.
PS, preview buttons on the compete page now work in IE. =) Gotta love browser consistency.

I like the format. Seems like a challenge that might get some more intrest. Does it need to be limited to 16 now that you have such a fancy voting system? I would think you could allow as many entries as you could want?

I think the original reason for limiting these sorts of challenges to 16 was so that voters wouldn't have a plethora of almost the same image to look through. I think that's still a good idea.
So instead of increasing the number of max participants per challenge, if a challenge fills up I'll just post more challenges.
Looks like it's gaining momentum. Might help if langdon added it to the Community Projects page... wink, wink. =)

I see there's a new PPChallenge up. Wish I could do this one but time doesn't permit this week. Sure do want to see what everyone else does with it. It looks like a nice image to work with. |
