hey,

a buddy of mine sells guitars on ebay. does a great job, but his lighting / pictures suck. he wants to go from something like this, which is what he's doing now:

//cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=230044415872&rd=1&rd=1

to this

i have the beginner alienbee set, and advised him w/ them...but maybe w/ a softbox. he's shooting with a Canon PowerShot S410

he's by no means a photographer. i'm goign to go down one weekend and set up things for him to get him an idea of what he should do.

if not a full blown light unit (alienbee) what would you guys suggest?

just curious. thanks so much.
