I've been around here for a little over two months now and I think I've learned a few things but still have a long way to go.I would appreciate an honest appraisal of this photo.I've looked at it till I'm crosseyed.

I like the original. You have surrounded your subject with pleasing, curved shapes, lots of lovely "S" curves.

I usually prefer originals when presented a choice in threads like this, but here I find myself liking the edit quite a bit more.

the original with a little bump in contrast would be perfect

I would probably like a hybrid of the two. I like the original feather and I like the edited foreground/background. The f/b-ground adds contrast to the feather. The original feather is soft, which really helps to appreciate the feather.

Depending on the type of editing rules for a challenge, this could be an easy manipulation or a more involved manipulation.

I do like the Edited one i like the tones. There may be a little to much contrast.. but i like it I like the warm feel to it
