I have seen several threads and complaints that many on DPC are not providing useful or helpful feedback. I would like thank those who provided excellent and useful feedback on my first challenge entry. I have alreadly learned much and hope to continue to learn with all the feedback - both positive and critical.
My original Entry was this:

I am quite sure it would have done much better than the original entry.
Kudos to those at DPC that take the time to provide helpful comments. |

I think you made the right decision with the crop. Good choice.
Edit: you have very good bokeh in them (both).

There is a saying, "Sometimes you can see the big picture." Well with photo's it should be Sometimes you can't see the little picture. I have had this happen before too. Cropping can really make a huge difference. Happy shoting

Really, she is a wonderful commentator. I like what you've done with the shot, by the way. |
