I have been using firefox for a long time now and all the IE problems I used to have are history.
But now I downloaded the 2.0 version and it is a nightmare. The browser keeps getting stuck. I have to shut it down, it does not react to anything else. Happens in the middle of a session and I can't that the site I am on makes any difference.
When I open it again it asks if I want to go back to the session I left and when I say Yes I go directly to what I was doing.

Has anyone had the similar problem? Can anyone please give me some advice on what to do. I did not alter any settings, but I did chose a few new add-ons. Translation possibilities, spelling etc. But no settings have been changed.

i stayed on 1.5.0.7 which works fine, i suggest you deinstall 2.0 and install 1.5.0.7 version again, and let 1 or 2 months go by and then we should have kick-ass almost bug-free firefox ..

I might be revealing my ignorance here but here goes. 1.5.0 is "underneath" there isn´t it ... meaning that if I just uninstall 2.0 the old one will be there. Thinking of all the bookmarks and stuff. :/

export your bookmarks :

"Firefox"
- bookmarks
- manage bookmarks ...

"Bookmarks Manager"
- file
- export...
- choose location
- SAVE

this halfold lady did know how to save the bookmarks :)
thanks guys for your advice, much appreciated - I have gone back to the old one (the bookmarks were all there, no need to import them again) and let us hope that I wont have any "frozen moments" from now on.
the 2.0 seems really good, many good functions, lots of really neat "right-click" possibilities - I shall wait a month or two and try again
