How would you "wow" this up? Any way to bring out the bug that it's eyeing up? Sigh... I should probably stop trying to take pictures of tiny things without the proper equipment.

Tighter crop would help alot. The empty space around him makes him feel really small (yes I know he is). Tweaks in levels and then some burning to bring out a more ominous feel. Not sure if this is along the lines of what you were looking for.

Edit - could probably edit out the bug better with the full size. The small image is tough to tweak the fine details.

Definitely tighter crop, some fun with contrast, saturation, warming filter, little sharpen, little dodge.... you get the idea. :)

Gees, you really should put a warning on this thread - that frog is nekkid!

That is kind of neat. Is it a snake skin texture?
